Schools

Originated in 1983 as the Vocational Education Institute and the School of Continuing Education, the School of Urban Arts and Creativity is guided by the spirit of "Breadth, prudence, profundity, and beauty; practicality and creativity" and features interdisciplinary studies and the integration of education and industry. It aims to nurture outstanding practical artists to better preserve cultural heritages, promote cultural value, deepen the integration of education and industry, and increase artistic output. These goals are achieved by becoming a talent-nurturing base that has artistic creativity education as the core, deep integration of education and industry as the path, and devotedly serving society as the mission. The 40 faculty and staff members include 5 professors and 24 associate professors. The current enrollment consists of over 551 undergraduate and junior college students and 52 graduate students.

Areas of Study

(1) Bachelor's degrees: conservation and restoration of cultural relics, visual communication design (cultural creativity design), and music performance (aesthetic education);

(2) Master's degrees:conservation and restoration of cultural relics, traditional culture inheritance and innovative design, and music aesthetic education.
