Schools

Founded in 2018, the School of Film employs the university-enterprise collaboration model and fully develops its talent and academic resource advantages. It continues to strengthen the collaboration with the government, the industry, and enterprises and actively serves the provincial goal of a national hub for film and television creation and production, and a "nationally leading, world-class" film and television industry base. The school has appointed renowned domestic leading experts such as the famous film art director Huo Tingxiao, the famous director Yang Yazhou, and the famous theatrical and film art scholar Cao Lin as master's supervisors and industry mentors. Currently, there are 25 full-time instructors, including 1 national first-class director, 3 professors, 12 associate professors, and 10 lecturers. Current enrollment includes over 565 undergraduate students and 67 graduate students.

Areas of Study

(1) Bachelor's degrees:theatrical design, filmmaking and production, and film studies;

(2) Master's degrees:film art creation, and film and stage art design.
