On October 16, the opening ceremony of Homecoming Journey — Wang Yidong Oil Painting Art Exhibition was held at the Art Museum of Changqing Campus, Shandong University of the Arts. Xu Mei, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shandong University of the Arts, Yan Ping, former Vice Chairman of the Chinese Artists Association, Gao Yuyang, Director of the Creation and Research Center of Wang Yidong Art Museum, and Wang Yidong, the artist of the exhibition, delivered speeches successively. Li Zhencai, 92-year-old professor of Shandong University of the Arts and Wang Yidong's teacher, announced the opening of the exhibition. Peng Li, Vice President of the university, presided over the opening ceremony.
