On September 8, the National Art Fund's 2026 Communication, Exchange, and Promotion Project—"Centennial Tianjin Chinese Painting Higher Education: Teaching Sketches and Works Exhibition (Shandong Station)"—opened at Shandong Art Museum.
This exhibition is a key academic touring event marking the 120th anniversary of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. hosted by Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts and undertook by our university's Art Museum, it centers on teaching sketches as its core academic medium, systematically tracing the century-long development of Chinese painting education in Tianjin and fully presenting the evolution from traditional master-apprentice transmission to modern institutional art education. Integrating an interdisciplinary exhibition concept, the show revitalizes traditional pedagogical materials through contemporary display methods, offering significant academic reference for innovation in Chinese painting education and cultural heritage preservation in the new era.
